Curious Twins Paranormal & Ghost Tours

Curious Twins Paranormal & Ghost Tours We are a family-owned boutique historic paranormal tour company based in San Antonio, Texas. The History
San Antonio's history is rich with haunting tales.
(1)

From cowboys and indigenous people to modern day massacres - there is so much to the story of San Antonio that you haven't heard. To us, history means telling the whole story through multiple perspectives. It means investigating curious, dark and often untold narratives. Our goal is to share that history, culture and knowledge with you. The Science
Yes, there is a science to the paranormal. In eve

ry tour, you will learn about how investigators use science to detect activity, and how you can identify or debunk paranormal experiences yourself. Note: Scientific tools and equipment will be present in tours, but will be more evident in private/for hire paranormal investigations. The Spiritual
In every culture there are people who are sensitive to paranormal activity - people who see or feel things that others do not. Though some may choose to ostracize these individuals, we at Curious Twins believe that those with curious gifts are special. Because of this, every Curiuos Twins tour will be curated by a psychic medium who will share insight about their abilities and San Antonio's history of paranormal experiences. The Owners - About us:
Who are we? We are paranormal investigators. We have traveled the nation in search of paranormal experiences, only to find that we want to share these experiences with those around us at home. We are Stephen and Fred, brought together by our mutual love and respect for all things spooky. Stephen is a horror film enthusiast and Fred is a phsycic medium with deep interests in the paranormal. Will you join us for a story?

About the Warrens' Occult Museum:
Ed & Lorraine Warren were acclaimed paranormal investigators and authors associated with many prominent cases of hauntings. Throughout the Warrens' investigative career, Ed & Lorraine collected various artifacts and relics that were attached to some form of demonic presence and hauntings. Those items are housed in the museum that they founded at their home in Monroe, CT in 1952. Today, Tony Spera, who worked with Ed & Lorraine for nearly 40 years, is head curator of the Warren Occult Museum. Tony is still actively investigating demonic activity, and is co-director of NESPR along with his wife, Judy Spera, the Warren's daughter. Stories of ghost hauntings popularized by the Warrens have been adapted as or have indirectly inspired dozens of films, television series, and documentaries.

You’re invited on January 31st to investigate a former orphanage in San Antonio with Curious Twins Paranormal.

This building, designed by noted Texas architect, James Riely Gordon, was originally built as an orphanage in 1890 called "The San Antonio Home for Destitute Children." Today, you can explore the building’s haunts and history with a tour, electronic séance and investigation.

Start off the evening with a floor-by-floor tour of the building (including the attic), followed by an electronic séance using different paranormal tools. We will close out the night with independent investigation time.

We will offer you the use of our paranormal research equipment, and we will also teach you to use equipment on your own for independent investigation time.

The building's purpose was the "caring for all orphans committed to its guardianship." The organization who first occupied the home was known as "The San Antonio Home for Destitute Children"; It was organized June 3rd 1886 at the Menger Hotel and reorganized with a new charter February 17th 1887. Then the name of the association was changed to Protestant Home for Destitute Children, July 9th 1888." Nine infants and one older child died on location from illness. Measles was a major cause of death. Almost every child who came through the building had either Scarlet Fever and/or Measles.

Cost: $59

About the hospital:
Yorktown Memorial Hospital in Texas was built in 1951 and was run by the Felician Sisters of The Roman Catholic Church. It closed its doors as a hospital in 1986, when it became a drug rehab facility until its total decommission in 1992. It's been abandoned for 32 years. It's reported to be highly active and very haunted. With reports of everything from talking dolls to large black apparitions to red, glowing eyes, most everyone who’s visited this abandoned hospital has experienced something.
