Our beloved City of San Antonio has decided to move forward in investigating how well electric carriages would work to replace our beautiful equine partners downtown. They intend to do surveys asking the public if they would ride an electric carriage. They promised us that they would find jobs for 85 full time carriage drivers so we could continue to feed our families and survive, which is not very believable honestly.
We are heartbroken. We will continue to fight the good fight. It's not over yet. We are strong together.
We need all the help, support, good vibes, prayers, activism, letter writing, social media presence, and karmic balances we can get.

Sometimes couples are so cute it just melts your heart β€οΈ
A bit of percussive massage to keep muscles relaxed and healthy π
Downtown horses experience all kinds of things. A calm cool head in both driver and horse coupled with the trust of good partnerships means the world out here.
Family sing-a-longs and holiday lights: what could be better? β€οΈ
When you care enough to message the very best π
What a beautiful day to run around with friends
A demonstration of how βheavyβ the carriages are. Note that they are pulling it up the hill.
Actually less demonstration, and more just everyday occurrence for every carriage. We pull these carriages every single day.
See the sights, ride the rides, enjoy the weekend. Every driver has amazing tales to tell. Romantic rides or tales of the city.
Pro tip: ask for a little bit of both! π
