Come stay at HHR and get back to nature. Our 700 square ft cabin sits in the Piney Woods of East Texas, 5 miles south of historic San Augustine on the original El Camino Royal trail.

Spend your time relaxing in nature, hiking the trails on our 12 acres, spend quality time with friends and family, sit around the fire pit with some s’mores, play bags, horseshoes (coming soon!) or simply kick back on the rocking chairs on the deck and watch the stars in the super dark night sky.

2.5 hours from Houston, 3 hours from Dallas, 1.5 hours from Shreveport, use our cabin as a base for fishing the 2 largest lakes in Texas, Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend or hiking either of the national forests within 20 mins- Sabine or Angelina.

This is the perfect place to bring the family for a break from the everyday, enjoy time and nature in a comfortable setting with all the amenities of home you could want. Oversized shower, king bed, bunk room and sofa bed, with space to sleep 6. Smart TV and high speed internet. Full sized appliances in the kitchen to comfortably prepare any meals and a very well stocked grocery store in San Augustine 5 miles away.
