Meet And Greet
This service is lined up for clients who booked for accommodation with Tour Ghana. Individuals or group are met at the airport and moved to their place of residence from there. Introductions to chiefs and leaders of the place of residence are done when necessary for security reasons and for township members and clients to be familiarized with themselves. This may be more often for those who requested for the home experience. Day Trip
This trip is a return journey. Clients are taken to visit tourist destination or sites from their place of lodging in the early hours of the day without having to lodge at the tourist site. Day Shopping
No other way of shopping can be more fun than when a special time is set within your tour itinerary for you to have a shopping experience. As part of our services, Tour Ghana has a day within the tour duration for clients to shop for various items of choice. The transportation for the shopping is covered by Tour Ghana Limited. Clients are responsible for the items they would purchase from the market. Instructions about the shopping are given to the clients written or orally by the Tour Ghana representative. Clients are advised to abide by those instructions for their own safety. Fun/ Local Dish Night
As part of our well designed services, clients are treated to a night of fun and local delicacies. Several local dishes are served with other fun activities to ensure that clients reach the apex of their satisfaction. Home Experience
This is an exceptional package for clients who wish to live among the locals for the purposes of studies or research. Tour Ghana makes the necessary arrangements for such clients to have a well secured and safe environment among the people. This package is designed for students, researchers and any individual with an objective fit for such an arrangement. PAYMENT
Payment indicates that you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions of Tour Ghana Limited. Payment should be done in full. A confirmatory email will be sent to you once your booking deposit is received. The company reserves the right to cancel your tour, withhold your deposit and apply cancellation charges where suitable in the event that a prior notice is not given. Cancellations and reservations received within 14 days before start of tour may be subject to a non-refundable charge of not less than 10% of tour cost per person to cover additional expenses incurred. To confirm a reservation, the following payment terms must be strictly adhered to. Tour Cost
Tour cost does not cover accommodation. One would find the accommodation fee indicated separately from the tour cost on the site. Accommodation
One should note that accommodation is not mandatory. You may choose to pay for and accommodate with us or not. The stated cost for accommodation covers for a single individual. DISCLAIMER
Tour or accommodation package does not include airfare within and outside Ghana. It is your sole responsibility to arrange for your transportation to Ghana. However, arrangement can be made on your behalf for the airfare within the country upon request. Charge for only one child (amongst the number of children) between the ages of 1 to 5 years of a family is free. That child would have to live in the same room with the guardian or relative whom they came with. Requesting for a different room for that child would attract a fee for that accommodation only. Cancellation Policy
In case you decide to cancel your tour, the signatory to the booking must notify the company immediately either via email or calling. Cancellation done within two weeks to set date attracts charges. Full refund is available to cancellation before two weeks. Booking should be done at least a week to due date. No tour booking will be accepted if it is a week to the date. Cancellation of any tour at any point in time pending the start date is something the company reserves a right to do. If this occurs, you are entitled to receive a different tour with similar benefits. However, if you do not like this, your money will be refunded to you in full. Upon cancellation of your tour by the company, we would not be responsible for any costs or losses that you might have incurred including vaccination expenses, visa fees, consequential losses and other travel costs. Changes To Package
In the event that you make any changes to your travel/ tour itinerary or requirements, this would be accepted provided you have notified us at least 7 days before the start date by calling or emailing us. The changes can only occur depending on the date of notification. Therefore, any costs that arise as a result of the change would be borne by you. Packages provided are altered to fit in client(s)’ budget. You would be notified for confirmation before processing commences. The company holds the right to modify or cancel any tour by reason of events that are beyond the control of the company such as war, war threats, fire, adverse weather conditions, civil unrest, terrorism, disease outbreaks, natural disasters among other events. SECURITY
TGL has the power to exclude any client whom by the assessment of the company may pose danger to the rest of the clients and/ or indigenes. TGL values each individual from all background. No disrespect or harassment in any form will be tolerated from tour guides to clients, clients to tour guides, client to client, natives to clients, clients to natives or guides to natives and vice versa. Anyone involved in any act of harassment will be dealt with according to the laws of Ghana. Movement restrictions given to clients should be highly observed by them under the boundaries of TGL. Any failure to adhere to such restrictions does it at his or her own peril. The company will not be responsible for whatever happens outside its boundaries. Clients are advised to move in groups or pairs and always seek assistance from TGL representatives introduced to them as their guides or assists. These guides are introduced to them during their process of booking and before the start of the tour. Hence, no one should pay no heed to people who may introduce themselves as reps from us. Necessary security measures will be put in place for the safety of all clients. TGL will work hand in hand with the security services to ensure your maximum safety. Free tags will be given to each client for the purpose of identification. Students are to come along with their ID cards for tour purposes. Risk And Responsibility
Booking indicates that you have taken into consideration and accepted all the potential hazards and risks that comes with travel and its adventures. Some risks may include injury, sickness and diseases, remoteness from medical services, loss or damage to property, discomfort and inconvenience and extreme weather conditions. You acknowledge that it is your decision to travel to this destination and that you are aware of this information alongside any foreign office advice and that you are ready to take responsibility for the personal risk that maybe involved. Meanwhile, an assistant will be provided to guide you through the necessary actions to be taken.
