One of my absolute favorite photos from our recent women's trip to Morocco... 🇲🇦

This is beautiful Kay, a solo traveler with a kind heart. This wasn't her first trip with us. It's been a joy to get to know her as we've journeyed together and shared meaningful moments and heartfelt conversations. ✨️

Here's what Kay had to say about her experience:

"The trip to Morroco was my second trip with Travel on Purpose, the first being to Guatemala last year. I would not have gone to either place if not with TOP. Experiencing real people helping others to rise above their poverty and struggles in their given country and helping them in their journey gives me more than I could have imagined. I laughed until I cried, shed tears of reflection and joy with fellow travelers who were strangers only a few days ago. Our Travel on Purpose Women's Tour to walk the Camino de Santiago is quickly approaching, and small groups around the US are meeting up to get their steps in and get to know each other!

Over the weekend, a southern California group had THE BEST TIME getting a 14-miler in with gorgeous coastline views, great conversations, a delicious lunch, and even a spontaneous ocean swim!

We can't wait for the epic adventure that awaits us in Portugal and Spain next month!

At Travel on Purpose, we love promoting the good work of our partner organizations worldwide!

Today, we’re sharing about the Kuwasha Coffee Company in Uganda. ☕️ 🌱

partners with organizations in Uganda to ingite transformational change through education, healthcare, and community development.

We have visited their schools, seen their important work first-hand, and love their approach to changing lives.

The is a great example of a sustainability project.

But what does that mean?

➡️ Many organizations face the challenge of endless fundraising to support their programs. But sustainability projects look for local ways to generate income in order to support the mission.

So Kuwasha decided to purchase land to start a coffee farm to support their medical clinic. Since 2021, they have planted 13,000 seedlings. Over the next two years, they plan to plant an additional 40,000 seedlings.

We join them in celebrating the positive impact this initiative will have on the Kibaale community.

The coffee company has a primary purpose with a secondary benefit:

➡️ To create a sustainable revenue stream to cover the expenses of their medical clinic

➡️ But that’s not all, because it’s also providing employment opportunities within the community. They are currently employing 65 people from the local community.

There will always be a need for traditional forms of charity, but forward-thinking organizations are paving the way for the future!

We are incredibly excited about this new venture in Kibaale and can't wait to see the positive impact it will bring! 🌍💚🌱

Plans for Travel on Purpose's first women's tour to India are almost finalized and ready to share! I am beyond excited to return to a place that stunned me with beauty, hospitality, and impact.

This trip will be a culturally immersive experience with luxury boutique hotels, village walks, time with artisan communities, hands-on workshops, animal conservation, iconic palaces, and historical points of interest. Like a great story, we will journey back in time and connect with local people. Best of all, we'll meet changemakers and be inspired by stories of empowerment.

I am so excited to announce a brand-new tour - walking the Camino in Portugal and Spain - this September!

This 11-night expedition through Portugal and Spain is a opportunity to rest, reflect and share an incredible experience with a community of women. This immersive journey will begin and end in the charming city of Porto, in Northern Portugal. We will also spend time at a farm and retreat center in the serene Vinho Verde wine region preparing our hearts, minds, and bodies for the journey ahead. Then we’ll make our way north to the Camino and for eight nights (including two nights in Santiago).

We will walk an average of 12 miles a day and enjoy the convenience of a luggage porter that will move our things each day to the next destination. We will also help prepare you in the months leading up to the trip to make it a seamless experience, leaving you with just two obligations... to enjoy it and be present for what the journey will mean to you!

Accommodations include a luxury boutique hotel in Porto, and modest guest houses and historic pensions along the Camino.

This Travel on Purpose™ small group tour is for all women (18 and older) who want to experience a faith pilgrimage, connect with other women and enjoy the beauty of northern Portugal and the Galicia region of Spain.

Where the road ends, and the adventure begins...
