We saw a Bryde’s (pronounced “broodus”) whale while whale watching yesterday! Did you know they're members of the baleen family? Learn more about these special whales through NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration):

Bryde's (pronounced "broodus") whales are members of the baleen whale family. They are considered one of the "great whales," or rorquals, which is a group that also includes blue whales and humpback whales. Learn more about Bryde's whale.

It was just two weeks ago that John Kostecki and Austin Sperry won the 2024 Star World Championship! America was lucky enough to serve as the spectator boat on the final day of the race and hosted a great crowd from the San Diego Yacht Club. Congratulations again to the champions!
