What kind of travel experiences are you craving for 2024?

I started hosting photography-based tours to Iceland almost 10 years ago out of my love for travel and adventure with others. Since then, I have added Scotland and Nepal to my tour list and I will offer more destinations in 2025.
I aid people in their photographic journeys by offer pre-trip and on location camera instruction, both with the technical and creative elements. For my guests that aren’t so photo centric with their travel goals, they get to experience epic places that I choose as a visual artist.

Aside from hosting tours, I also plan itineraries for self-guided tours. The car and accommodation discounts along with my contacts and resources pay for my planning fees alone! Plus, my daily planning and timing for visiting sights saves you so much time - you get to experience more!

If you are looking for a customized, fun adventure in 2024 or beyond, please connect with me so we can start planning together. Either join a planned tour or I can create one for groups of 5-6 guests.

Ellyn Rocks Iceland!! I hope I get to go back to Iceland again soon ❤️ Ellyn puts together a tailored made bucket list travel itinerary, and no detail is too small. I was so lucky to get to join the group, none of whom I knew prior to the trip. We had a blast talking it up on Facebook beforehand. One thing about Ellyn is that she gets to know you, and has this magical ability to match personalities of the people in the group whether it is a good fit or not. Ellyn knows hiking, horses, the food (Hint: Arctic Char! Hands down the yummiest), local customs, the land, off beaten paths to avoid crowds best as possible, horses, the landscape and photography too. Oh and she’ll make sure you bring the right gear and layers of clothing too. The trip was out of this world, 13 days too short…. I know I would have never gotten to see and feel a part of Iceland like I did without taking Ellyn’s private tour. Ellyn is way beyond Exceptional! She cares about each individual on her trips. You will not regret taking one of her trips! I will say it’s one of the best trips I’ve taken in my life. Well worth the splurge. And don’t forget to hit up the beer spa!

Had a fabulous epic tour of Iceland. Learned how to use my camera and take many frame-worthy pics! Lots of active time hiking, so much to see...great food, hotels were perfect. Everything was so well planned in advance and laid out for us. All we had to do is show up! Highly recommend an Ellynism tour - Can't wait for the next one (!)

I have a few spots left in my Scotland Photo Tour in 2023. If interested, message me or join the Scotland Photo Tour 2023 group page.
Here are the tour dates! Depart the USA on May 27, arrive in Edinburgh on May 28
This is a custom tour so we can stay and visit areas as determined by weather. If there is a site you would like to visit, just ask and if it is doable, we will go! Here are the highlights:
May 28-30 - Edinburgh – 2 nights
Visit old Edinburgh and New town. Walking tour. The hotel is a stone's throw from it all. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore!
May 30-31 – Anstruther – 1 night
Boart ride to the isle of may to photograph the puffins and many other sea birds that nest on that island.
We first head to St Abb's area and visit Queensferry and North Berwick along the way.
May 31-June 1 - Pitlotchry – 1 night
Visit St Andrews and lower highland area en route.
June 1-4 Skye – 3 nights – Harbor Lodge
Visit Inverness and Culloden (try to go through the stones:-)

Fairly Glenn
Quirang
Fairy Pools
Man of Storr
Kilt Rock
Just to name the major sites!
June 4-5 - Oban – 1 night
En route we will see Castle Stalker, the Harry Potter train and aqueduct

June 5 - 6th - EDI – final night – Hampton Hotel
Depart for home, June 7th

All accommodations, breakfasts, driver and vehicle, daily photo tour guide, pre-trip and post trip instruction.
Still pricing out the best boat option to Isle of May to see puffins and 250,000 other nesting birds on the island! I am likely able to include it in the tour fee.
For lunches we tend to pick up food and picnic along the way. For dinner we eat at our accommodations or in a local town.
To secure your spot, please arrange to send me $1000 via Zelle, Venmo, etc… the rest of the tour fee is due April 1st. Message me to arrange.

Hello Iceland travelers! One concern I would like people to be aware of before your trip is to make sure any boots, gloves, etc… you are taking and will be wearing there are thoroughly clean/disinfected. Iceland does not vaccinate their animals so if you plan to ride and visit any barns it is really important. Here are my imported Icelandic horses below for your attention 😊.
