SDC is a professional modern dance company, directed by Erica Buechner, which strives to create relevant choreography with articulate dancers.

Sound Dance Company has several performances in the works, CHOREOLab on January 12th, 75th Anniversary of SDSU's School of Music and Dance the second weekend in March, Young Choreographer's Prize on March 25th and the youTurn Contemporary Arts Exhibition 2012 on May 3rd, 4th and 5th at the 10th Avenue Theater.
