The best Colorada I have surfed in a while. To have it all alone for 4 days in a row is a true gift from Oaxaca and Mother Ocean. I surfed with amazing friends and family. I'm still in disbelief that this magical place won't be here forever.

10 years ago the politicians of Oaxaca and wealthy elites of other foreign interests tried to destroy a beautiful, magical, natural wonder.

The people of Puerto and allies stood up and fought for their land and ocean. The project was never started. Now a new generation of corrupt politicians and people with their own self interests are back to destroy this haven for the wildlife and people of Puerto Escondido.

Playa Colorada one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The Only Boogielandia, a playground for bodyboarders. Not only are there waves, but turtles, crocodiles, manta rays, cranes, crabs. A precious gem if Oaxaca. enjoying a gift from her.

Today remember how amazing life is and how greatful we should be to the women in our lives. Everytime I experience a Baby Sea Turtle release, I'm always amazed how these little creatures make it without any support. This beach is the home to N.America and S.America's 2nd largest reel. It's increíble, beautiful, and tranquil with beautiful shells along the shore. An amazing reef abundant with life, that has no fear of your presence. A true gem of Oaxaca, Mexico, and the world.
