Most tours are guided by our Founder Kirk, who has guided tours through 134 countries. Kirk speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish, and some German as he studied in Heidelberg for a year. He just returned from guiding a group to Rio.

We are the original, free, San Diego tour and are independently owned. Our passion is to share local knowledge, both historic and fun secret spots! We’re the perfecto start to discover all that San Diego has to offer, and more.
We’ll introduce you to must see sites, hidden gems, and suggest fine dining or diners, or dives.
Most tour times are 2.5–3 hours, and whether you find out about the Gaslamp’s brothel business back in the day, or drink where cowboy Wyatt Earp drank in 1885, you’ll be entertained!
If visiting San Diego with family, or a group of fun friends, you will discover eateries, coffee shops, and nightlife locations on all our tours!
Our original, free walking tours are available every day at 2pm (14:00) PST, or if you have a group of 6-or more, let us know your preferred day and time and will try to create a custom tour for you!
Tours move along at a reasonable pace, and stop halfway through or so, for a bathroom/cocktail/coffee break. We allow guides to alter stops, if necessary, due to weather or crowded event situations like Padres’ baseball games.
Your tour starts when we meet at specified spots, once you make a reservation, and PLEASE be at that location at 1:55pm, where we wait until 2;05pm. IF you are running late or have to cancel, let us know by a voicemail to 619-630-5156.
