We returned home from our Annual Doug Delany 8 Day trip with an incredible load of fish and a group of happy anglers. We spent the majority of our trip targeting nice Tuna and Yellows and we had no shortage of either. We also managed to have good fishing on Pargo and Grouper. We enjoyed flat calm seas for the majority of our time in the lower zone and Doug Delany made sure that everyone was stocked up on Kunde wine and his very own personal wine. On our way up we held a memorial for our long time angler Brad Freeman who sadly passed away last year.

The Tuna on this trip averaged 40-75 pounds and the bulk of the Yellowtail were 18-35 pounds. Huge thanks to Doug Delany and all of his generous sponsors for making this trip happen.

We are fresh out on our Michael Tran 8 day making tracks south in beautiful weather.

We are out on our Doug Delany 8 Day with an awesome group of folks. Our first day down in the lower zone did not disappoint. Wide open fishing on incredible grade Yellowfin to get the party started for Doug and the gang. Flat calm weather and every method you wanted to catch them on worked. We are going to give it a go again tomorrow.

This morning, we concluded a 3-day adventure with Chad Smith and the Lucky Cat group, featuring remarkable bluefin fishing. The majority of our time was spent engaging in anchor flyline fishing for fish weighing 20 to 50lb, with periodic opportunities to target larger fish in the 100 to 220lb range at night. While the weather was mostly favorable, the latter part of the trip saw a decline, but the downswell ride ensured a comfortable way home.

We arrived home this morning with a beautiful load of Yellowfin, Yellowtail, Grouper and a sprinkle of Pargo, Lings and Reds. We had wide open aquarium style fishing on 40-80 # Yellowfin our first couple days of fishing and a steady pick on Yellows in the mix. A true long range experience getting to catch exotics in the mix as well. It is as good as it gets down South and we are beyond excited to see what the Fall brings for our future fishing trips. Huge thanks to Luc Ofield and Anglers Choice for hosting another amazing trip.

We arrived home this morning from our Open Party 3 day with a respectable catch of Bluefin. Weather and conditions made it very tough this trip but we were able to scratch out a good trip. We had decent action on big ones our first day and our last day we were able to sit on the anchor and pick away at 20-30 # grade fish. We are back out on our Anglers Choice 8 day rolling south.

Another nice surprise! We ended up with 44 big Wahoo for our day at the Rocks. When we arrived it was perfect conditions and we picked steady all day on the troll with an occasional bomb or bait fish. New Nomad Dtx 220 HDs were the ticket. Headed towards home trying to fish a little offshore and along the coast as we travel.

Steady Seabass fishing throughout the last couple nights. We released most of what we caught due to the size being a touch small but we caught a decent amount of legals up to 30lbs aswell. At one point they were free swimming around the boat eating flyline baits. Very rare experience.

Yellowtail are still in abundance down south and are being caught on all methods of take. We had a nice finisher this am on 20 to 35lb fish and steady action throughout last night.
