Yesterday we departed on our Electric Tuna 15 day trip with a nice load of bait and we are making our South. Yesterday Tony Garza had a ton of giveaways which consisted of the tackle they will need for this trip. We will be hosting seminars for the next few days as we gear up for our fishing days to come.

We returned home this morning and we offloaded our spectacular catch of beautiful grade Yellowfin and Wahoo. It was a long range dream sitting on the anchor picking at 120-200+ pound Yellowfin all day long and if you wanted to try for a Wahoo they were readily available as well. Although weather was up for the better part of our trip it seemed to have made the fish more eager and bite. Our time traveling up was spent relaxing with old friends, watching football and enjoying the amazing food that Kacey had been pumping out of the galley. Last night we enjoyed the famous seafood buffet which consisted of Rack of Lamb, tomahawk steaks, bacon wrapped scallops, bacon wrapped shrimp, Wahoo and a huge sushi spread. Huge thanks to Jim Odlum and Paul Lepore for making this trip happen and a big thanks to Accurate, Seeker Rods and Deckhand Gear.
Big fish of the trip goes to
Pete Wight- 285 # Yellowfin
Jim Odlum- 281 # Yellowfin

Finished up our 2 day trip with some more yellows then spent the afternoon trying for Bluefin that wouldn’t bite. We did manage to capture one and saw good sign throughout the afternoon and after dark. The boat lays in for a few days then departs again on a series of long winter trips. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

Arrived home from our 15 passenger Larry Brown 3 day with another load of Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna. It was a long ride down and back but we made the best of it. Few good stops on Yellowfin eating 100lb in the corner and we managed to pick off a few of these big Bluefin in the mix. Everyone was able to take home atleast a couple fish and enjoy some beautiful late fall weather.

We arrived home this morning from our Open 3 Day with a beautiful load of Bluefin and Yellowfin. We got to our destination and immediately stopped on fish. All day long was spent tugging on either a 50-80 # Yellowfin or a 60-170 # Bluefin. 80-100 # test line with a 1/0 hook was the ticket all day long. Once the sun went down we were able to keep the ball rolling and connect on the knife jigs. A real treat to catch this grade of fish on any trip. Huge thanks to everyone who came out and joined us. We are back out for our Larry 3 day.

We are out on our annual 11 day Hoos Tuna Run and Gun trying for trophy Yellowfin on the lower banks. Bites have been hard to come by but we’ve managed to catch a few of these nice fish. Tomorrow we will give it a final morning then head up to spend the last half of our time fishing for variety of species that hopefully are more eager to bite a hook.

We arrived home from our Larry Brown 10 day with a beautiful catch. We had very good fishing for the duration of our trip and although Wahoo were very hard to come by we made the best of this awesome Yellowfin fishing and Yellowtail fishing. Fishing along the coast the last couple days of our trip was some of the best Calico fishing we have seen and topping it off with some Reds and Lings. Huge thanks to Larry Brown and all of his generous sponsors for making this trip happen.
