Have you been up the Oakhurst Steps? I’m casually trying to visit new streets in the city (up to 60% so far) and realize I hadn’t been on all of Crestview Lane off the top of these stairs.

It was cold and foggy in the morning and condensation kept dripping on me from the trees above. 💦🥶

I was so happy to be greeted by the sun back in the Mission. ☀️

Stumbled across this house yesterday and loved the plaque citing Irving Morrow as the architect of Golden Gate Bridge. I especially love it because normally Joseph Strauss takes all the credit. And we know what his original design was, right?! See pic 3. 🤦‍♀️

Check out this glow up!

The long-awaited Steps to Wisdom open on June 7. The design was created by local artist Phillip Hua. Multilingual messages of wisdom such as “Family is anyone who loves you unconditionally” are printed on the tiles. This stairway is the brainchild of the Goettingen Neighbors Group and was made possible with grants and donations.

Mosaic stairway alert! Have you been to the Together We Bloom stairs in the Sisterhood Gardens? The design was done by artist Kim Jensen.
