France re-opens its doors to vaccinated Americans"
President Macron has finalized plans to allow vaccinated Americans to visit France this summer as a broader tourism reopening. Macron has briefed president Biden's administration on the move, even as France undergoing a third national lock down, closed schools and non essential businesses, closed at 7pm and gatherings have been prohibited through the end of April. Macron's administration will progressively lift the restrictions, starting beginning of May 2021 for both European and American tourists who have been banned from entering the European Union since March 2020 due to the high level of Covid 19 virus cases. France has so far administrated 17 million initial doses of Covid 19 vaccine shots, 4.5 million French people have been vaccinated since April 2021. But how fast should Francophiles be searching for that flight?. Many airlines can allow you to purchase an adjacent seat to keep empty- make sure that call them to make that request.
In flights viral transmission remains rare. The risk of transmission is extremely low if you are wearing your mask properly and using hand sanitizer and wipes on a regular basis.
Also no airlines have required a proof of vaccine to board a flight but this may be coming soon.Negative Covid -19 are still in place, some airlines are making it easier to get tested pre-flight with at- home or airports testing options. After a year of lock downs and grounding flights, it's official : Air Travel is making a strong comeback.
As more Americans are vaccinated, the number of passengers is also growing.
The latest data from the TSA is showing more than 1 million flyers have passed through US airport security checkpoints each day this spring 2021 In fact we were told that the highest number was 1.6 million people on April 2nd , the highest number since the start of the Pandemic. But as more travelers step onto planes, everyone should be aware of the safety precautions during their journey through airports and inside airline cabins. A few pointers to avoid problems while traveling.
Face masks are still required, some airlines will provide complimentary masks and hand sanitizer. Inside the aircraft Sanitizing is a must. Many airlines will distribute disinfecting wipes upon boarding so that customers are able to clean their own area as an added measure of reassurance. The TSA now permits larger bottles of sanitizer at airport checkpoints. Now there are fewer empty seats not like before where you could have 2 extra seats to yourself. So be prepared whenever you step onto a flight it maybe crowded, no more blocking the middle seat for social distancing measures.

Travel post Covid 19.
As travel is about to return real soon what to expects at hotels. Will it be like 2020? probably more comfortable, but the mask will be required.
Summer 2021 will feel a lot different from the one in 2020. If the vaccine rolls out and continues to be successful, you should definitely feel safe to travel and gather together with precautions. Hotels across the country are getting ready for a busy summer 2021.
When Covid hit no one was really prepared and knew how to operate. But with a year of practising, hotels are ready to reopen to a market of travelers eager to get back out there - But this renewed freedom does not mean leaving the mask behind.
Here is what you need to know - Hotels are filling up rather quickly and they have seen bookings through September. Some hotels still operate at a lower capacity for safety reasons, which can make the competition a bit stiffer. Travelers are being asked to be flexible and understanding. Last year, the silver lining was that nearly every booking was in fact flexible and refundable. For some places booking is still flexible but there maybe a shift as demands are starting to grow. Safety is definitely number one, mask wearing and other protocols to keep staff and guests safe.

I have been away from this page for far too long!.
2020 has been a very challenging year Professionally ( virus and lockdowns). Not a soul travelled abroad and till today it is still challenging.
On top of the lockdowns I lost two siblings a few days apart from each other, the month was December, one from ALS and the other one from a stroke. That was my 2020, but life needs to move on and I am getting back into the swing of things and I am ready to post again.

I will send you bits of information and keep you posted on what I am planning to do. Hope all of you are doing well and turning a page for good on 2020. Look for my posts!
