Raychel Nestor, started dancing at age 3 in Miss Sharon’s award winning Pre-School Dance Program and started competing at the age of 7. For her junior year of high school, she auditioned and was accepted into OCSA in Santa Ana, CA. She was then accepted with a partial scholarship to attend the prestigious CLI Conservatory, outside of Boston to train with the goal to enter into the professional world of dance. She is loving every minute, and feels that she owes all of this to her time, training, and love from Capistrano Dance. She said, “I can’t wait to return to visit everyone!”

Victoria Marco started dancing at Capistrano Dance at the age of 2 1/2 and started competing at the age of 6. She performed on several award winning competition teams in jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip hop and tap. Her dance goal was to become a member of her high school song team. She was able to achieve her goal and danced with Capistrano Valley’s high school song team all 4 years of high school. After graduating, she attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio earning a Bachelors of Arts in Biology. She now is a D1 student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

Megan Keene started dancing with Capistrano Dance at the age of 3 . She danced on multiple award winning competition teams in genres of lyrical, jazz, tap and hip hop. This prepared her for her high school team auditions. This preparation paid off, she made the Aliso Niguel varsity dance team her freshman year. She then continued on to The University of Diego earning her B. S degree in biochemistry while dancing for the USD torero dance team.

Happy Mother’s Day to of all of the amazing moms out there! 💜

Thank you to all of the moms who have brought their kids to endless dance classes, watched them many hours of dress rehearsals and performances, driven to the early morning competitions after hours of hair and makeup, and who have supported our studio for the last 19 years!

Did you know that we are a mother daughter owed business! Sharon and Elizabeth Kinney opened their doors here is San Juan Capistrano 19 years ago and all three of Elizabeth’s children have trained at our studio. We can’t wait to see what year 20 will bring at our NEW location! 🎉

Company Dancer Highlight of the Week! Dahlia 🌟 Dahlia started dancing when she was 4 years old. She started competing this year with the Rising Stars. They won a Judges Choice award at Starbound! Dahlia loves being on stage and takes dancing and practice very seriously. She loves to watch the movie, “Decedents” and likes to stand in front of the TV to copy the dance scenes. Miss Crystina just taught her a lyrical dance to the new Frozen song, and it may be her most favorite dance EVER! Fun Facts About Dahlia! Favorite Color: Pink 💕 Favorite Food: Strawberry Bars from Trader Joe’s 🍓 Hidden Talent - crossing her eyes 👀 Something You Might Not Know About Dahlia! Her big sister, Charlotte, is also a dancer at CDC. They are best friends!
