Revenge of the vacuum cleaner?!? This killer Bokhara has had its fair share of battles with dogs, vacuums, and getting walked all over, and it’s fringes were in dire need of a healing makeover. Swipe through to see the cotton foundation’s new life! 👈👈 We picked back the fringe into the kilim, trimmed them, and provided a sturdy overcast stitch so that the weft fibers don’t unravel. We think the pretty red stripe from the kilim on the foundation fibers is an unexpected bonus! Let us know if your rug needs some care and attention, we’ve got your back! 👍💪.

This vintage Persian Isfahan is a client's family heirloom, and it's poor edge finishing had seen better days (swipe before to see the damage done when you take matters into your own hands and remove fringe yourself 🙈). Our repair tech was able to clean up the edges and bind the rug, helping it look it's best AND retain its value! ✨

Silk rugs are the cream of the crop and are also the most delicate rugs to clean. Great care must be taken when washing, due to unstable dyes which can run wild spreading the colors to undesirable areas of the rug. You couldn't even tell that the rug had colors before and now it's back to its original glory!

Here's some action of our talented repair technician picking back damaged fringe on a beautiful vintage Persian. Once this is complete she will secure it with an overcast stitch to preserve the weft fibers from any future unraveling. Fringes are the first thing to go on any rug, especially vintage, but our experienced and professional repair department can step in and save the day!

Who would have guessed that this gorgeous Afghani Ikat rug drank a whole bottle of red wine just a few days ago? (👈swipe for before if you don't believe me!)
