🎨 Get ready to celebrate the newest addition to Downtown San Marcos—Flowing Through San Marcos is by artist Andrey Kravtsov and is located on the back of the center at 110 E Martin Luther King Dr! Inspired by the community’s input, the mural showcases the vibrant flora, fauna, and architecture that represent San Marcos. Mark your calendars for the Dedication Reception on October 25 from 6-8pm (location TBD—stay tuned to the Arts-San Marcos, Texas page for updates).
Mark your calendars - the Sacred Springs Powwow is just around the corner!
Happening on October 5 & 6 at The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, the Powwow is a vibrant celebration of the Coahuiltecan people, who have called the San Marcos area home for thousands of years.
Experience more than 100 dancers performing to the rhythms of traditional drums and songs. Explore the Native Cultures Tent, discover cultural exhibitions, and participate in workshops about the Coahuiltecan language.
