Some things to do…

A good thing to do is to go to the Mesa Flea Market. Its about 15 min from the house and directions are on the website below.

It must be at least 4 football fields in area and has all sorts of neat things to buy and a food court with entertainment in the middle. I think it opens about 9 am and goes until 4 pm. If you time it so you are there until closing then when you leave the market you can drive to Organ Stop Pizza and we were there just as they were opening.


Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa (about 1/2 hour away). Great Pizza and a Pipe Organ comes out of the floor and a guy plays it for a few hours over the dinner hour. There are different instruments all around the room that he plays from the organ. It was quite impressive and we did enjoy the food. Here's a you-tube video that shows a bit but you really have to be there to appreciate all the instruments around the whole room that he plays from the organ.

Mesa Market Place Swap Meet is a great place to spend the day shopping with 1600 boutique merchants with an unbelievable range of merchandise.
