Mountain Metals has multiple openings for experienced Welders / Fabricators to join our team. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under light supervision in a changing, fast-paced environment are a must. We strive to maintain a professional, fun, positive, and team-oriented workplace, so a positive attitude is a must. Job Summary: Layout, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal according to blueprint and layout specifications. Requirements: Minimum 2+ years of on-the-job welding experience in a structural and fabrication shop. Proficient at shop math and applicable geometry. Knowledgeable of AISC and AWS standards and workmanship. Able to perform your job duties with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Layout, Fit Up, QC Check, and Weld Out of Ornamental and Structural Steel Operation of Hydraulic Press Brake Operation of Hydraulic Shear Operation of Iron Worker Operation of Mechanical Band Saw Fit parts by means of clamps, bolt straps, braces, or bolt parts in positions for welding. Education and Certifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. . WABO and or AWS Certification(s) preferred but not required
