Last night we stayed at Showalter’s Orchard & Greenhouse in Timberville, Virginia. It’s a beautiful place known for its apple orchards and ciders. We bought a few varieties from their Old Hill Hard Cider brand. Minnie, Camille and I really love this view as the sun rose right outside of our front door. This is our second Harvest Host. Today we hit the Jersey shore where we’ll park and venture from the RV to visit with family and friends in my home town Morristown NJ.

During an extremely hot and sunny day at NAS Key West, I was fortunate to be a my good friends, Dave and Danny from on Liberty with the RV. Dave and Danny are friends I’ve made through our shared RVing adventures. They were kind enough to lead on two upgrade projects on my Ram 3500 Dually. At the Key West Naval base’s auto hobby shop, we installed Air Lift airbags and compressor and replaced my factory fuel tank with a 55-gallon Titan fuel tank, upgrades that promised to transform my truck’s performance. Without their knowledge and efforts, I would not have attempted the jobs on my own. Proving that with the right company, even a day spent under a truck can turn into a memorable adventure and a learning experience . Thanks to their help, my truck is now fully equipped to take on the open road with improved stability, capacity, and range.

Thanks to Art for allowing me to leave the truck in the bay while XDP (Extreme Diesel) got their act together and finally got me the right tank. Never again.

This place has no drinks, not even water. It’s BYOB including water, I I did mention it. But the pizza is crazy off the hook! We’re gonna come back prepared to stay for a while. Larry the chef is the middle.
