🌟 Quick Rides & Big Wins at Soldier Creek! 🚵‍♂️🌳

Sometimes life’s errands turn into unexpected adventures! 🤷‍♂️ I had to recycle some used car oil 🛢️♻️, and since Soldier Creek Mountain Bike Trail was right down the street (less than half a mile!), I thought, “Why not get a couple of laps in?” 💨

Soldier Creek might not be the biggest trail in Central Florida—heck, it might even be the smallest—but it’s perfect when you’re crunched for time and need to blow off some steam before work or evening plans. 😤✨

The rain this weekend had the trails riding so good, and honestly, this place always surprises me. Just when I think a trail won’t be as challenging as others, I find myself grinning ear to ear, loving every twist, turn, and climb. 🚴‍♂️🌈

One thing that really stood out this time? The new signage! 🪧 Seminole County put up a sign explaining how the extra penny tax is being reinvested into parks and recreation. Seeing those small improvements—better signage, bike washes, maintained trails—makes such a difference. It’s awesome to see our local MTB scene growing. 🙌👏

Big shoutout to Seminole County for caring about our outdoor spaces. 💚 Maybe one day Central Florida can grow into a bike mecca like Bentonville… A boy can dream, right? 🌟🚵‍♂️

📍 Mount Dora Adventures with Florida Mountain Bike Guides 🚵‍♂️

Out on the trails today with Marty, and what a session it was! My E-bike’s in the shop, so I dusted off the pedal bike and got to work. 💪

We stopped to session a few spots, and this video shows us tackling Harry Scary… but backwards! 🤯 We’ve ridden it forward countless times, but taking it the other way was a whole new level of tricky and technical.

Both E-bikes and the pedal bike got it done! 💥 I even tried two different lines—one hugging the tree and riding up its big roots felt like the winner for me. 🌳

🚵‍♂️🌄 Perfect Day at Mount Dora Mountain Bike Park! 🌧️➡️🌞

Yesterday was all about good vibes, great trails, and even better company! 🙌 Mary joined us for an epic session at Mount Dora, and the weather couldn’t have been better. Thanks to a little rain the night before, the trails were prime! 🌿✨

We were especially stoked to ride the new features on the “Derailed” section of the trail. 🎢🔥 Talk about FUN! It’s so rewarding to see how the trail keeps evolving.

🚴‍♂️🌄 Trail Day Fun at Markham Woods Mountain Bike Trail! 🌳🎵

Saturday started late, but I was determined to hit the trails! 🎯 As I rolled into Markham Woods, I stumbled upon a group of rad dudes blasting house music 🎶. Without hesitation, I joined their crew, and it felt like we’d been riding together forever! 🤝

Within minutes, it was all laughs, past ride stories, and a game of “who knows who.” 😂 We cruised down to the river 🌊, and of course, I had to flex some skills on the way there! 💥 Big shoutout to Chris, David, and the third legend (whose name I lost—sorry, dude!) for making the ride unforgettable. 🙌

Can’t wait to hit the trails with you guys again! 🛞🔥

🚴‍♂️💨 Ringing in 2025 on the Trails! 🏞️🔥

Paul and I kicked off the new year in true MTB style! 🎉 Started at Markham Park in Sunrise, FL 🌅 for some epic mountain biking. The plan? Ride, camp, and repeat. 🏕️ But… I accidentally booked our campsite at Quiet Waters near Coral Springs. 🤦‍♂️

No worries, though! We made the trip, set up camp, and discovered Quiet Waters has MTB trails too! 🤯 So, we hit those the next morning and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! 🚵‍♂️💥

Of course, the GoPro was rolling the whole time, so get ready for some awesome clips coming soon. 🎥✨ Two parks, two days, and one unforgettable start to the year. 💪🌴

🚵‍♂️ Solo Mission Back to Snowhill! 🌳🌞

It's been months since I last hit the trails at Little Big Econ State Forest. After hurricanes Helane and Milton, the flooding was so severe that some sections were completely inaccessible. 🌊😱

But on my latest ride, I was stoked to see all trails clear and ready to shred! 🙌🔥 The cooler weather made it even better—perfect for exploring one of Florida’s most scenic spots.

Throwback Thursday 🚲✨

Looking back to where it all began—my first hardtail mountain bike. 🥹 It wasn’t much, but it was EVERYTHING. That bike sparked a passion for the trails and eventually led me to my first full-suspension ride. 🌟

Do I miss that hardtail? Every. Single. Day. 😅 Lesson learned: Buy a bike, upgrade it, and keep it for life. That’s my new motto! 💪
