✨ Exciting Update from Team Panguma! ✨

A few months back, we shared that Microscope Marketplace helped supply microscopes to a missionary lab, and Munday Scientific donated extra objectives and accessories. Today, we received an incredible update—complete with amazing photos! 📸🔬

These microscopes were sent to Sierra Leone, where Team Panguma’s lab is using them to screen for diseases like Malaria, Typhoid, and more. They also ensure all donated blood is safe for transfusions, making a real impact on their community. ❤️💉

Yesterday, we took a deep dive into continuing education with a hands-on training session led by our very own Danny Duncan – the man with the plan when it comes to microscopes! 🛠️ With 40+ years of experience, Danny walked us through head alignments, proper disassembly, cleaning, and lubrication of the Nikon tilting telescoping head. Everyone jumped in at some point to sharpen their skills! 💪🔧

But we didn’t stop there! 🚀 We also:
📦 Shipped out a Zeiss Phase Contrast Scope after a belt replacement
🔍 Repaired & shipped an Olympus SZX9 – even though the zoom gear part was discontinued, we sourced an aftermarket replacement and gave it a new life! 🙌

A Day in Chapel Hill: Microscopes, Autopsies & Chicken Tenders! 🔬🍗

Chad and Danny spent the day at UNC, working on a Nikon microscope and getting hands-on in the autopsy room with a few Olympus scopes—just another day in the field for Munday Scientific!

But let’s be honest... the real challenge of the day? Picking a lunch spot. With Raising Cane’s, Sup Dogs, and Buns all in the mix, it was a tough call. Cane’s won this round—and let’s just say, the new Franklin Street location is 🔥.

Of course, we had to grab a van photo-op in front of Sup Dogs because, well... traditions.

Another solid day of service, science, and seriously good food!
