I am sad to share that Hurricane Ian wiped out our condo. No one was hurt, and we have 35+ years of good memories to take with us as we move forward. So we are blessed. Our insurance company has asked us to document our losses. If any of you have photos of the unit that you would be willing to share, please PM me. (Esp. if you took a pic of our orange metal Florida sign in the MBR. Loved that thing!)

So glad we got to share this lovely spot with all of you...

A number of you have reached out to ask how the condo fared. While we have obviously not been on island yet, satellite imagery shows that the building was destroyed. Certainly we are sad, as we had 30+ years there, but there are others on the island who are much, much worse off than we are. If you are in a position to donate, please make a gift to FISH of Sanibel-Captiva, Inc. They are the social services organization on island. View from the lanai, which is fully screened. It's the perfect spot for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Also views of the back yard and the beach (steps from your back door).

Unit comes with a charcoal bbq, beach towels/chairs/wagon/pop-up tent/umbrella, boogie boards, 2 bicycles, and more. The condo association includes only 6 units so you typically have the pool to yourself! Also includes two full-size parking spots.

Second bedroom - beds can be combined if two couples are renting! Bath has tub/shower combo. Located on the first floor.

Master bed and bath. Windows over the bed face the Gulf, so you can hear the waves as you fall asleep... King size bed. Private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. Generous storage for longer rentals. Located on the second floor, along with new full-size washer and dryer.

Dining area/kitchen. Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, etc. Cabinet holds a variety of games. Cable TV, etc. (It's our second home, and we want you to feel at home here!)
