You can't take a hike in the woods on many barrier islands, but you can on Sanibel. Less than 2 miles from 1340.Riverloft is one of Sanibel's best kept secrets; Pond Apple Park. The park is a 40 acre wildlife preserve with a 1.6 mile loop trail.

One of our favorite bike rides takes us to the iconic Lighthouse Cafe. The cafe offers great breakfasts and is an easy bike ride (2.5 mi, one way). www.lighthousecafe.com

We purchased our 1340.Riverloft condo unfurnished. After and Before master bedroom pics. After shows contemporary, minimalist furnishings that are both functional and comfortable. Each pic is captioned with more info.

Folks commonly ask about the location of 1340.Riverloft. We're located in Sunset South condos on the east end of Middle Gulf Dr. The Causeway is only a 5 minute drive so you avoid heavy traffic during busy times. Restaurants on Periwinke are a short drive. Sundial Resort is a block away and easily walkable, with five restaurants, plus a tiki bar. The Sanibel Island Golf Club is a pleasant stroll from Riverloft and the Blue Giraffe 2 Restaurant is located on the premises. Next time we're on Sanibel we plan to check out the restaurants and tiki bar at Sundial, as well as the Blue Giraffe 2.😁 Pics and reviews will be posted.

FAQ # 2 --- Why book a 30 DAY rental?
1. Price makes sense-- Monthly rate the same as a 2 + week rate.
2. Flexibility--Sat-Sat in/out doesn't work due to work or airline connections; perhaps you want to book an "odd" number of days Or you get lucky and can spend a few more days on Sanibel than originally planned. A month gives you great flexibility!
3. Hard to find a weekly rental---most are booked.
4. Quiet---Condos that rent by the month tend to be quieter.
5. What if we can only use 2 weeks? If the above works for you and makes it possible to visit Sanibel.....then book a month and write off the unused days. PM Brende Hofer for info.

Our condo is a 2BD/2BA with nearly 1500 SF under air. Add in a screened lanai off both bedrooms + private balcony off the living room and this condo lives large. Newly & thoughtfully furnished right down to decent cutting boards, and sharp knives in the kitchen.

Per condo docs rentals are a minimum of 30 days, 4 person max occupancy and no pets. 30 day rentals along with fewer folks per condo tend to be quieter.

1340.Riverloft is located in Sunset South with only 4 condos per building. Our top floor corner riverfront location offers a lot of privacy. You can easily call Riverloft home for 30 days or more!!!
