If you lost a reservation in 2022 or 2023 due to Hurricane Ian, you can now rebook my Sunsanibel Vacation Rentals! Reservations are now open, and the condos will re-open on November 2, 2024. NOTE THAT B306 & B307 completion has been pushed back. So I now expect that the earliest rentals will be 12/1/24. F401 is expected to be ready on 11/2/24.

Sanibel Island has undergone a massive transformation since Hurricane Ian in 2022. Through hard work and determination, the community has worked together to restore the place we all know and love. Businesses and vacation rentals are beginning to reopen, and my rentals will be available beginning November 2, 2024.

Good News. Rentals at Sundial F401, B306, and B307 are tentatively scheduled to resume rentals on 11/2/24. However, elevators may or may not be operational. So if the elevator is necessary, I suggest you schedule your stay after the first of the year. Looking forward to welcoming our guests back.

Photos of Sundial B307, 1-bedroom, prior to Hurricane Ian. Although progress is slow, we are nearing the time on 8/1/2024 when my interior contractor can begin work. I expect at that time, all walls will be repaired by general contractor and my own contractor will paint and make smaller repairs. I also will then refurnish the condo. On 9/1/2024 I expect to have occupancy, but resumption of rentals will be later in the fall. For guests that have deposits on hold, I will begin taking reservations for 2025 soon. Sundial F401 photo from 2019. Here is what I know. This unit had the least damage of my condos. Tentatively, my contractor can start interior work on 6/1/2024. As of 8/1/2024, I will be allowed access. We were required to empty all contents so at that time, I will move furniture back and have delivery of new items. At this time, the Board has indicated rentals would resume at the "end of the year." Not really sure what dates those are. Guests with deposits on hold have first choice of dates. I will be accepting reservations for 2025 in about a month for those with hold-over deposits. If F401 is available before that I will post. It's been a long & painful process, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for all of your supportive comments along the way. More reports to come. Sanibel Lighthouse Repaired

A crew of workers delivered and attached the new leg on Jan. 23, putting an end to an ordeal that started in September 2022 when Hurricane Ian hit.
