The club was saddened to learn that our Vice President and long time member, Terence Wenner, passed away on April 12th. He was 54. His cell phone wasn't found with him causing a delay in the club finding out about his passing sooner. The news came as a complete shock to the club and all those car enthusiasts who knew him.

Terence was an ever familiar face within the club attending nearly all of its events, demonstrating his passion and commitment to the club and the Dodge Challenger. When his 2010 gray Challenger was totaled in rear-end collision, he rushed right out to purchase another -- a 2014 gray Challenger! He loved his gray ghost.

As many of you know, Terence retired from the U.S. Navy, a few years ago, after 20 years of proud and dedicated service. Returning to civilian life, he was excited to finally settle down and had just purchased his first home. Sadly, he had not even made its first payment yet.

He is survived by his mother, sister, grand-mother, three aunts and an uncle.

Attending the annual reunion of the Santa Ana Drags, the first commercial drag strip in America (1950-1959)). These gentlemen were making history drag racing before many of us were even a gleam in someone's eye. True legends.

Chrysler Turbo-Encabulator

Chrysler Turbo-Encabulator What started as a joke in 1944 among engineers, the fictional Turbo-Encabulator makes fun of actual technical terms which few outside of engineering actually understand. In 1988, Chrysler took the humor one step further with this video. "The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots in the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversible tremie pipe to the differential girdle-spring on the 'up' end of the grammeters ..." Video stars Bud Haggart and Mike Kraft, both of whom have appeared in Chrysler's "Master Tech" video series.
