The “vortex” is definitely one of my all time favorite local hikes.

My recommendations:

1) start early in the morning when it’s cooler;🥵

2) map it before you get there, it’s spotty cell service;🧭

3) and take your time on the hike…there are so many incredible views and things to see along the way. If you’re always looking down to see where to step next, you miss the best part of the hike.🐢

This old brick fireplace truly needed some character updates.⭐️

Our new paint job is a good start...the dramatic contrast opens up and brings the room to life.

I’m hoping to eventually add some ship lap and a shelf. 🙌🏻
