It's almost track build time again here at the World Famous Hot Rod Hobbies!!! The date of this build is Sunday January 12, 2025 and this layout will be used for our club races and our upcoming Racer Appreciation Night on Saturday February 8, 2025!!! Joey Christensen from The Dirt Racing will be here installing our new layout!!!

As usual WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!! Come out and spend the day helping with the track and earn yourself a FREE month of first entry club racing!!!

Just a reminder! Hot Rod Hobbies WILL NOT be racing tonight on New Years Eve!

Hot Rod Hobbies hobby store is open TODAY until 5pm so stop by to pick up some goodies or burn some laps!!!

Hot Rod Hobbies is open TOMORROW as well on New Years Day for our normal business hours of 10am to 7pm! Both the hobby shop and tracks will be open on New Years Day and the weather is looking fantastic for tomorrow!!!

Merry Christmas from all of us at the World Famous Hot Rod Hobbies!!! Just a reminder that we will be closed on Christmas Day and also we WILL NOT be club racing on the new two Tuesday nights (Tuesday Dec. 24 - Christmas Eve and Tuesday Dec. 31 - New Years Eve). We will be club racing on Saturday Dec. 28 @ 2pm!!!

We will be open on Christmas Eve from 10am to 5pm and then we will be back open the day after Christmas on the 26th from 10am to 7pm!!!

We hope you all have a great holiday with your family and friends and we hope to see you all here after Christmas with all those new goodies Santa brought you!!! God bless you all and Merry Christmas!!!

We have OFF-ROAD practice TONIGHT until 10pm!!! Grab your R/C cars and head over for a rare night time practice session under the lights!!! Since we have Dirt Oval going on tonight, we will also have the lights on over our off-road track for practice! Make sure you stop by the hobby shop to pay the practice fee and sign our waiver before entering the track area please! We hope to see you all here tonight with GREAT weather!!!

It's Dirt Oval race night at the World Famous Hot Rod Hobbies! Tonight is our final round of the current series as well as our last Dirt Oval club race of the year! Come out and help us say goodbye to 2024 as we prepare for the upcoming year and more Dirt Oval racing! Stay tuned as we are working on our new Dirt Oval Jan-Jun 2025 schedule! Track opens at 4pm and racing begins at 7pm under the lights!!!

Also, our off-road track will be open for practice until 10pm so that our off-road guys can get some real time practice!!! Please stop by the hobby store to pay for practice before entering the facility!

It's Dirt Oval week at the World Famous Hot Rod Hobbies!!! This Friday night we will be hosting our final Dirt Oval club race of the year. We do not have any races scheduled for 2025 as of now but we will be working on a new schedule as well as looking for a new permanent Dirt Oval race director if anyone is interested!? Corey and Mike will be working together for the time being to make sure the track is in great shape! We are looking forward to another awesome night of Dirt Oval racing under the lights!!!

Also, with Dirt Oval racing going on this Friday, that means our off-road track will stay open until 10pm for anyone who would like some evening off-road practice under the lights! Please stop by the shop to pay for practice and sign our waiver before entering the track area!

Here it is!!! The JBRL's first event of the 2025 season will be our 28th Annual Pro-Line Off-Road Shootout!!! This years event will once again be hosted by Rainman's Hobby & Raceway in Bakersfield, CA!!! Special thanks to Randy and Jona Raines for allowing us back at their awesome facility! This years event will once again be a two day event with Friday practice (included in entry fee), 3 rounds of qualifying on Saturday and triple A mains for all classes on Sunday!!! All paid participants will receive a FREE event t-shirt and we will also host a HUGE raffle with a car kit, electronics and much much more!!!

Save the date, please share, tell your friends and get those entries in for our 28th Annual Shootout! You can send in the cut off entry form at the bottom of the flyer to Hot Rod Hobbies, you can call Hot Rod Hobbies to sign up and pay via credit card or you can PayPal [email protected] using friends and family including all your sign up info in the notes!!!

We showed up to this awesome chocolate cake this morning!!! Track is OPEN and we are racing tonight at 7pm with Sexy Leg 🦵 on the mic 🎤!

Track is open!!! To our surprise, we showed up to a perfect track this morning! Come on out and get laps before the rains come tonight!!!

Track update! Good news is that the weather forecast changed and the rain is now supposed to stop tomorrow night late. That means that we should be good for Dirt Oval at Hot Rod Hobbies on Friday night and possibly off-road on Saturday!!! We placed our pump before the rains started and this is what it looks like after running for now 24 hours straight. It will continue to run all night tonight and all day tomorrow. Mason Templeman will be out there on Wednesday to finish up with the big ass pump if anyone wants to come help!
