Tomorrow, friday, a Baja 1000 film called “Ironwoman ,“ will be shown as part of the No Man’s Land Film Festival. The film is about Liz Karcz and her experience as the first woman to ironman (race by yourself rather than part of a team) the 1000 on two wheels ! North Bay MC and Valley Climbers MC were out in force yesterday honing skills with the new AMA District 36 Enduro scoring equipment. This equipment is great and has the potential to revolutionize scoring. Imagine hanging out at the scoring tent post-race with a chilled beverage as results are being displayed on a big screen monitor. The system will be used live for the first time at the upcoming Sawmill! Big thanks to D36 Ace, Sir Russell Brace, for his years long efforts to conceptualize the system, procure funds, and see the project to completion.
