National Public Safety Telecommunications Week!

During National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, we want to take a moment to thank the dedicated dispatchers who work behind the scenes to keep our community safe. Their quick thinking, calm demeanor, and commitment to public safety are truly admirable. In 2023, the SRPD Communications Center received almost 190,000 phone calls, with over 72,000 of those calls coming in on the 911 emergency line! Their tireless efforts help keep both the community and our field personnel safe. Public safety dispatchers, the unseen heroes ensuring help is always just a call away. Thank you for your dedication and service!
