We took it head on, but SK lives on. LaSiesta, amazingly undamaged. I lost a storm door. Not much else on the property. The Helene surge was way worse, as every first floor unit got several inches of water Massive clean up is underway. Other places on the key were more or less effected. The village is reopening bit by bit. Turtle beach, transformed and Midnight Pass open for the first time on 40 years! Let's hope they leave it open. South bridge open, north wasn't last check. Much of Florida beyond the Key was ravaged. SK, will recover. Might look different in some spots, but we came out of this. We might have been leveled.

Siesta Key took a bath. Pleased to report Idlewild South at SK, on the second floor is undamaged. The key has a lot of cleaning up to do, but we will.

All owners:



Currently we are seeing a tropical event that is forming in the Gulf. At this time, there have been orders put in place for mandatory evacuation for anyone on the barrier islands. This will start 12:00 tomorrow. We encourage all associations even those not currently under mandatory evacuation orders to continue to evaluate the situation and should additional evacuation orders go into place all owners should obey the authorities and evacuate. We also encourage all owners to monitor the county website so they can keep on top of the storm should there be sudden changes. If you are able to opt in for text alerts through your county you may wish to do that also.
