Shore St. Armands Says Goodbye as We Look Ahead to New Horizons

After an incredible journey at our iconic St. Armands location, we will be closing its doors after service on Sunday, December 1st, 2024. This marks the end of a cherished chapter in our Sarasota story, shaped by years of community, support, and countless memories shared with our loyal customers. This decision was not made lightly, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, we want to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude and hope this isn’t a goodbye but a see you later.

The Leonard family, founders of Shore, made the heartfelt decision to lease the building after the impact of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. While it’s bittersweet to leave this beloved spot, the spirit of Shore continues to grow.

“We’re excited about what the future holds for Shore,” shares co-founder Susan Leonard. “Sarasota has always been home to us, and St. Armands Circle will forever hold a special place in our hearts. If the right opportunity arises, we hope to return to this incredible community in the future.”

Looking ahead, Shore is preparing for exciting expansions across Florida and beyond, staying true to our roots while bringing our coastal-inspired style and relaxed vibe to new places.

We are safe! After weathering Hurricane Milton, we’re thankful to share that Shore at St. Armands will be opening today at 4 PM. Your continued encouragement means the world to us as we rebuild together. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the storm.

We’re so grateful for the incredible support from our community that we continuously have seen over the past couple weeks. While our elevators are still down, our team has worked hard to get everything back in place for you.

Important Update from Shore St. Armands Circle and Longboat Key!

Due to the upcoming storm and for the safety of our guests and staff, Shore St. Armands Circle and Longboat Key locations will be closed today and tomorrow as we make preparations and weather the storm.

We anticipate reopening on Friday, once the storm has passed and it is safe to do so. Please stay tuned for further updates.
