Rome day 2 (part 2).

After the colosseum tour we headed to check out the Roman Forum. Absolutely beautiful grounds and views! We also went to visit The Vatican (check off another country!) and see the beautiful St Peters Square. Can’t forget about the pizza for lunch & pasta for dinner, cuz… when in Rome!

Rome day 2 (part 1)

While we saw many of the highlights at night, it was fun to see them in a different light under the sun!

Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon & we had an awesome tour of the Colosseum! We had the pleasure of getting to be on the arena floor (only 200 people/hr get to do this vs the 3000 people/hr allowed to enter the upper levels of the colosseum!)

Rome. We spent 2.5 days exploring Rome before and after the cruise. There is such beauty in this historically rich city. It was incredible to see buildings and art that are thousands of years old! Sadly, 2.5 days was not enough and I look forward to going back someday!!!

Plaza’s, Fountains, steps, historic buildings, true Italian food and more!

Day 1- we stayed in a hotel apartment in the heart of Rome, just a few blocks from the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain and more.

In an attempt to adapt to the time change, we scheduled a private golf cart tour of the popular spots at night. This was a highlight of the trip and our time in Rome!

On Thursday (after arriving home from Europe on Wednesday late afternoon) I had the pleasure of getting to preview, ride and experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (formerly Splash Mountain). The ride officially opens in just 1 week on Friday June 28!

This ride is adorable! The technology is beyond realistic and the storyline is sweet and wholesome. For a few minutes I truly felt as though I was floating through the Bayou with Tiana!

If you’d like to experience this yourself, it’s not too late to plan a summer trip!

Ahh! What an amazing 12 days. Rome, Disney Dream cruise with stops in Naples, Mykonos, Santorini & Crete, and back to Rome. Wrapping up with a day at Magic Kingdom to preview Tiana’s Bayou Adventure before it officially opens next week 6/28!

That’s a wrap!!! 4 parks, ONE day! Rides, shows, animals, characters, parades, food & drinks, 22,000 steps, a bus, Skyliner, Monorail and a car ride home. My ❤️ is happy!!!

No need to wait until 2pm to head to the next park! Also… no more park reservations for packages with tickets!!! That’s right, if you book a package with tickets or purchase date based tickets, you can go to whatever park you feel like when you wake up!
