Families usually make a trip to the cemetery to spruce up their loved one's memorial. They first lighten the spirit, or aligerar el espíritu, which means pulling weeds and removing debris from the area before washing the grave marker. Then they beautify the gravesite with candles, flowers (preferably marigolds, which have a smell said to attract the spirits), sugar skulls and the favorite foods of the loved one.

A wonderful way to see downtown Sarasota and experience the restaurant options. We tasted Tacos, Italian, Thai and for dessert, Gelato. There was more than enough food - all of which was very good. Susan was very personable and well informed on the history of history of Sarasota.

"My family had the best time with Troy during the Ghosts & Gruesomes tour last week. We love learning about the lesser-known and "darker" facts and legends of the places we visit during our travels. Our tour with Troy was one of the best we've experienced! "I took my 3 grandkids on the shark tooth hunting tour with Grace. She was fabulous. The best part was 3 hours of seeing my grandkids so absorbed and excited and no bickering. They chatted with Grace as if she was an old family friend. I would recommend it to anyone with kids who are getting restless on vacation. Visiting Shark Frenzy was an added bonus. The girls got their shark teeth made into very cute and reasonably priced jewelry. I was thrilled that one of my finds was coral. Lastly, we all enjoyed our meal -still no bickering! Grace was kind enough to take photos for us of a trip I am sure none of us will ever forget. - Deborah A.
