We got a room that overlooks part of Downtown Disney and is just down the hall from the private entrance to Disney California Adventure Park.
Very convenient location to take advantage of the early entry that comes with staying at one of the Disney hotels.

Success!!! Got a "premium viewing experience" pass for Rogers: The Musical at Disney California Adventure Park.
This pass includes priority access seating, exclusive lounge area to relax before entering the theater, souvenir popcorn bucket with red, white, and blue kettle corn, beverage, and a photo opportunity. The pass was $29. If you don't want to pay for the premium pass you can also try to enter the virtual queue at 10:30 AM or 2:00 PM for a chance to get assigned a showtime.
