We started our 2nd @rascalandthorn Collaboration Whisky Tour with @wateroflifefilm with a visitor to Tormore Distillery in the Speyside Region of Scotland. It was really an incredible visit to the distillery with one of their Senior Distillery Managers, George, who took us through everything in detail. Then off to barrel making, hands on, and a trip to the water source for more drams! And to sample from the spring. A great way to kick off our 2nd Tour with @weedrambigman.

Back to the Scottish mainland for a visit to @lochleawhisky a very exciting young farmstead distillery that grows its own barley for its whiskey.
This was followed by a unique and delicious lunch prepared by @benedictreade at an unusual but amazing location - @blackthornsalt which uses a fascinating system of running sea water over a tower composed of blackthorn branches to create a marvelous, complex, flaky finishing salt. The rare Orkney mutton made by Ben was absolutely extraordinary - easily the best and most unique mutton that I’ve ever had.

Last day on Islay was @bruichladdich day and what a day it was featuring @abi_bruichlassie Adam Hannett and the legend himself, Jim McEwan! We washed down some incredible drams in incredible places including a new 18yo core range that will be an upcoming release, an upcoming Black Arts 11, and a future Sauternes finished #octomore all of which were astounding! We also enjoyed a fabulous seafood feast!
