A new season , and a few more improvements to the lodge and grounds. Hoping to greatly reduce the mud..
We have "see ment " garage aprons and sidewalks.
And we have gutters and down spouts.
they blend right in... look close.

For those coming to Lemens Lodge in 2024, - Welcome!
Lots has changed, and is still changing.. we are making great progress with our addition..
and also have made many improvements to the main lodge...
*The exterior is a bit of chaos- still much to do.. so you may encounter occasional construction workers & traffic and day time noises..
Let us know as issues arise- and we will try to mitigate any issues..
* Parking will be varied , but you can unload & load close to the doors..
** The inside we think is vastly improved... look around let us know what you think
* 2nd floor - wood floors are all refinished.. please lift - don't drag anything.
*Windows have new trim, half windows are new,
*Bedroom and furniture remodeled,
*NW bedroom expanded by 5 ft and a closet.
*Daybed area - de cluttered..

***The lake- is still the same,

Construction of our addition has begun and should be done before Fishing Season in May. It will include 2 car attached garage, and additional first floor Living area for the owners. Thus requiring less moving for rentals. A few changes on second floor as well. Stay Tunned

Our Story

Welcome to the Lemens Lodge on Long Lake - a Sportsman and Family Lodge! A huge 4 bedroom home on an acre of land with 120 feet of lake front property to rent by the week and enjoy. Enjoy year round, lake activities. Boating, swimming, fishing, skiing, snow mobiling, fall color watching - pick your season. Previously known as J&J Resort, The main house has been converted into a vacation rental with a huge Lodge with fully equipped kitchen, large dining, comfy living room, 4 bedrooms upstairs and additional sleeping options downstairs to accommodate small and large groups. There are 2.5 full bathrooms, Two full baths, on the main level and on the upper level and a 2nd half bath on first floor.

All bedrooms have small tables, chair and dressers. SE Bedroom is largest, has one queen bed. SW Bedroom is medium with two single bed. NW Bedroom is smallest with one queen bed. NE Bedroom is medium with two single beds.

In addition on the first floor, in a corner (not private) is a daybed with pull out twin to make a full size bed. We also have a futon and pull out couch. This should give you lots of options.

With Three Decks; The front deck for small simple relaxation, The rear deck off the living room, sports a fantastic lake view, for gathering and grilling. The third deck is a large private "icehouse" deck along at the lake with awesome views of the water, the wildlife and the Boy Scouts property across the shore. The Boy Scouts own 10 miles of undeveloped shoreline which keeps this one of the most beautiful lakes in the area. The property has its own private dock and campfire pit. It also shares a convenient fish house to clean your fish. Long Lake is known for it fishing and is the 'Walleye Capital of Wisconsin'. It also has an abundant supply of small-mouth bass, large-mouth bass, crappies and sunfish.

There are many restaurants and marinas (providing gas and rental boats) on the lake so that you never have to leave the lake. Off the lake, there are some great restaurants and golfing options. If you like to shop, Stone Lake is only 10 minutes away, Spooner is 20 minutes and Hayward is only 35 minutes away. Hayward always has something going on and its Main Street is loaded with shops, restaurants, its famous candy store and bakery and even a Wine Cave with entertainment. Rice Lake, 30 minutes, provides full services, and large scale stores.

Once you arrive, our property manager, will provide you with a Welcome Book that provides details on the property so you can feel right at home and gives you other local restaurant, shopping and recreational activities. Come join us on one of the most beautiful lakes in the area.
