Treehouse Cottage wasn't the only one that got a makeover. In Jan’s Cottage, the kitchen was updated with new appliances and cabinetry. The bathroom got a new walk-in shower with glass doors. And, the living/dining room furniture was replaced to increase the comfort of the main living area.

Over the winter many renovations were made to Treehouse Cottage. First, the kitchen was remodeled with all new appliances and cabinetry. The master bedroom was enlarged with an adjoining sitting area overlooking the Kalamazoo River. Lastly, most of the living room, dining room, and screened porch furniture were replaced.
