The mudroom cabinets are finally painted and up on the wall! It was a LONG process but we are so glad that we repainted them with BM’s Advance paint in Kendall Charcoal. We chose to have a satin finish to give it somewhat of a sleek look, which contrasts nicely against the rough wood. We originally painted them using left over BM paint in Collingwood that had a matte finish. While Collingwood is a beautiful color that works great in the sleeping nook and kitchen, it looked white in the mudroom and didn’t give us what we were looking for. Cabinet handles are by AmazonBasics in golden champagne.

Starting off the new year with a guest room! We removed a closet, cut out a stove pipe, patched, leveled and painted the ceiling and walls, patched the subfloor and put in missing hardwood panels, and painted the windows and molding. All of this took us about 3 months! We still need to do a decent amount of work, and will probably replace the headboard, but in the meantime, we can’t wait to have guests! IG is being finicky at the moment so we will have to post before pics later, but for now you can take a look at our photos posted on October 31. *
