78' Classic Gaff-Rigged schooner with all the bells and whistles of a yacht. Purchased in Spring 2010 by Marina O'Neill and Paul Dines, Freda B has been completely restored with new rigging, sails, flat screen TVs, galley, guest cabins, salon with buffet table and much, much more. Freda B's home berth is about a 5 minute walk from the Sausalito ferry landing and downtown bus stops serviced by Golden Gate Transit and the Blue and Gold Fleet.

Schooner Freda B made her way to the Farallon Island with gear and scientists aboard for the annual Farallon Patrol Run for Point Blue. The crew and vessel donate a day of their time to support their conservation mission. These missions began in the 1970’s with just a few vessels (including beloved CIMBA of Sausalito,when under care of Charlie Merrill). Captain Paul Dines continues to honor his mentor’s legacy and support by sending out the Freda B annually. Many thanks to the crew for an excellent day of sailing.

Farallon Patrol- Schooner Freda B is provisioned and ready to set sail for her annual volunteer run to the Farallon Islands in the morning. The vessel and crew volunteer their time to support Point Blue and their mission by taking gear and Scientists to and from the islands.
We look forward to this unique and exciting opportunity every year.

Freda B was there!!!

13 years ago tonight Boch and us Giants beat the Rangers in Texas to win World Series. On flight back to SF Boch took me aside and said “ look at that trophy , that’s all I need, that trophy and to be able to win a World Series. Looking back now I knew he was full of s**t, he needed 2,3,4, of those Trophies. Congrats buddy, you’re one of a kind.

Thank you for the shout out NBC and local Anchor Terry McSweeney. It was one of those beautiful, clear and breezy San Francisco days on the Bay for Cinco de Mayo. A real “wish you were here” postcard kinda day.
