During the weather break we got a hundred hour service done on the 300 hp motor and pressure washed the back of Dash 1 and the 150. Boats going back in the water shortly, first pickup from DI 8 am tomorrow!
Time to get back after it!

People love Daufuskie Island, South Carolina !
Just sayin...
Lots of fun bringing a team from WTOC to Daufuskie Island, South Carolina today for an upcoming video segment. We enjoyed watching the process of making content, and can't wait for the finished product.
Huge thanks to Caroline and Explore Daufuskie for providing the cart that stars in this "drive-off" bit.

It's pretty over here on Daufuskie Island, South Carolina ! Here's a minute of what it looks like where we drop off and pick up. The County Dock was once the Landing for the weekly paddle wheel steamer service that ran between CharlesTown (Charleston SC) and Jacksonville FL. We could see this old majestic Live Oak being witness to that traffic.
Thanks Angela for hiring us to take your mom, sister, and niece on a sunset loop tour! We made some new friends along the way:-)
The first Thirsty Thursday of the year is in the logbook. We had a fantastic time taking "The Field's Cut Rescue Squad" to DI for an evening of music and fun. We took the Haley fam over to the County Dock and dropped them off on the way to the new (to us) venue, Freeport Marina and the Old Daufuskie Crab Company.
Eric Daubert and Joe's Piano Bar Jarka put on quite a show. The Haleys came and loved it, and we also saw another family of customers.
Here's to a great 2024!
About 52.5 million years ago, dolphins lived on land. Today, they seem to be pretty happy living in the water:-)
We saw this pod--with a couple of babies--while returning a lovely family from Daufuskie Island, South Carolina to Savannah Boathouse
