Island Shuttle Boat Tours would like to congratulate Lifestar Savannah on 40 years of service to the Low Country. Captain Dan flew for Lifestar from 2000 until 2004 and it was a pleasure and an honor to serve with that excellent group of people. Heck, Dan even got a wife in the bargain.

Friends!
Here's an update to our operating hours for visitors traveling to Daufuskie Island, South Carolina .
Our regular operating hours are between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. Our first regular departure from Savannah Boathouse for Daufuskie County Dock is at 8am.
Our first regular return from Daufuskie is at 9 am.
Our last regular departure from Savannah Boathouse is at 4:30 pm and our last regular pickup from Daufuskie is at 5:30.
Any trips scheduled outside of these hours are "after hours" and subject to an additional fee.

So let's say you need to bring a lot of extra cargo to or from Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. We can schedule a full-boat cargo trip (just cargo, no passengers.)
The 20' boat will carry 12 ea 17 gallon totes and/or 60 qt cube coolers (max weight per item 50 lbs); a transit-trailer load. Cost is $270 each way. (equivalent to 6 day trippers with no cargo).
The 24' boat will carry 16 ea 17 gallon totes and/or 60qt cube coolers. Cost is $360 each way, equivalent to 6 overnight guests with fare-included cargo.
Cost is for dock to dock service. If you want assistance moving cargo between parking lot and boat and from boat to transit trailer please add a 15 percent gratuity for crew's effort.

If you plan on bringing any extra cargo items beyond the items included in your per-person fare, please let us know at the time of booking so we can plan accordingly and transport your cargo--and you--safely.
If space is available for your extra cargo items we charge $60 per regular marina baggage cart each way.

Dash 2's bottom paint job got finished this morning, and as we were returning from Daufuskie Island, South Carolina in Dash 1 with the Jamrozy's, Hunter was putting her in the water with the forklift. So we hopped off one boat onto another and went right back for the Noonkesters. The smooth bottom added 3 mph at the same fuel burn. Bueno!
The Noonkesters were the first to book a trip this year, in January, for a trip in June! Smart!
Then it was into a Freedom Boat Club shirt and offshore training for Mike and Jake, father and son. On the boat, Dan asked Mike, "how old are you?"
"68!"
"Me too! What's your birthday?"
"April."
"Mine too! What day?"
"25th"
"Hah! Mine is the 27th! Man you're old!"
Yes, we had fun:-)
