So why Savannah Sidewalk Tours?
Don’t Get Lost in a Crowd! Explore Savannah’s history, lore and legends from the ground up with an intimate, small group walking tour. Connect with the culture of an historic city that combines elements of Old South, hip college town, architectural showcase and shopping/dining destination to create a unique experience enjoyed by visitors from across the world.
Savannah Sidewalk Tours limits online booking of our public tours to a maximum of 10 guests, in order to provide you with a more personal, authentic and memorable experience. (Of course, if you have a larger group, please contact us by phone to book your tour).
We do two main tours. Our Just Around Midnight Tour is a deep dive into Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Here's where you'll get the stories behind the people and events in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, as well as in the 1997 movie of the same name (there are some differences!). You’ll also get a good look at a number of the historic buildings that are also very much a part of this story.
Our All Things Savannah Tour, meanwhile, is the perfect way to get to know Savannah! This stroll through the heart of the city’s historic district focuses on the people, places and history that make Savannah unique. Stops along the way include River Street and Broughton Street, a pair of retail and restaurant districts with plenty to offer in the way of food, drink and entertainment; several notable historic buildings; and (of course) we’ll take a good look at Savannah’s most beautiful squares.
We run our tours every day of the week except Tuesday. Tour times vary seasonally. All tours start next to the John Wesley statue in Reynolds Square, directly across the street from the Olde Pink House and Tavern.
