Lacey was born in Savannah and grew up here. She has seen how the times have changed and many things along with it.

“You have to be willing to adapt. Every day is different, things change in an instance. You have to find a way to move forward and not be stuck.”

Lacey is a hardworking mother of 3, and although Savannah may be different now, in a lot of ways, it still has its true Southern charm. Lemonade on a warm summer night porch watching the sunset is still a pastime. Treating others with respect and honoring your word are still fundamental values. And raising a family in Savannah is still a dream come true.

The passion and values I have came from my grandmother. She went to smith and she opened a department store in the 1800’s that was around until 1985. She was full of life and had a twinkle in her eye. Growing up on a big farm I got to have true southern roots, but also see how a woman could compete in a mans world of business. She didn’t take no for an answer, always followed through on what she said, and treated everyone with the utmost respect. Savannah has been more than just a home for us, it has been a way of life, and Cora Bett Thomas Rentals has been our way of giving back and loving this community.
