BWC Technologies was at IDEA2015 - IDEA's 106th

This Annual Conference and Trade Show was held in Boston! We truly appreciate your support of IDEA and visiting our booth. BWC held a raffle to win a steam turbine model that was made with our 3D Printer.

All you needed to participate, was to place your business card in the box located at our booth. On the last day of the conference we asked for assistance from Kristen Mitrick from Ethos Energy to reach in and give us the winning business card.

BWC Technologies sends out our congratulations to Ann Cedrone of Con Edison as the winner of the model steam turbine.

We had a customer which had a Worthington Turbine leaking excessive amounts of steam from the packing case areas.We designed a modification utilizing Labyrinth Seals. Our customer approved the design and we implemented it. Below are pictures of this modification at the point of installation.

Our shop is fully equipped with milling machines, lathes, grinders and CNC machines, but it is our mindset that governs how we conduct business. That mindset is present from top Management and carries on to the shop floor. When you call us you talk to skilled professionals who have been in the turbine industry for years. Our employees are knowledgeable about your needs. BWC Technologies uses a blend of old technology and new. Just because you buy a computer does not mean you throw away the pencil and paper. If we are making a complicated part we will run it on one of our CNC machines, but if it is a simple part and limited to a small quantity it sometimes makes sense to run it on manual machines
