We took a ride up Hwy B to Presque Isle on Sunday, and this was the view by the dam on the Presque Isle River. The grass was greening up, and we're anxiously waiting for all of the greenery to begin to pop.

We captured so many photos of the awesome color in our area over the last few days, that I am going to share 2 photos a day for the next couple of weeks, probably of the same or a similar scene from a different angle or perspective. Hope you enjoy them half as much as we enjoyed taking them.
The color is changing so fast. The photos that were taken over the last few days were mostly north of Boulder Junction where the color is advanced. There is still a little ways to go for the areas south of town. Can't wait to get out there again!

We are getting the cabin ready for the summer rental season. It was a long and snowy winter, we took on more than 100 inches of snow. Due to the excess snow we had to hire someone to shovel off the roof. Not a usual winter activity for us, but we like having a roof on the cabin and suspect our renters do too. The lake temps are rising, our kiddos were jumping into the 45 degree water and they agree while it’s cold it’s still a lot of fun! We have a fully booked summer and most of our fall weeks are booked, we wish all our renters a fun, relaxing, active, and safe 2019 Northwoods vacation.
