We had planned on attending Farmer's Market this weekend in Scappoose. I saw my Dr. Monday for a follow up on my recent tub diving escapade and it was suggested that I take one more week for R&R. Following this advice, I plan on attending next week end. In the interim, I am sharpening out of my shop. If interested give me a yell for drop off instructions.

The only time I do this is when my body has to go in the shop for repairs so to speak. The last time was a few years ago for a couple valve jobs in my heart. Now I'm looking at a new ball joint repair in my hip. So, as of today my books are temporarily closed til after repair. I went back to shop today, thought about sharpening and went naw,knowing my luck I would cut myself or something stupid like that and cancel my Valentines day treat, surgery.

Time to jump back in, it's been awhile, still here,doin what we do,but it's been slow mo for a while. In August of 23 my left hip started messing with me,now me being me thought aw,it's nothing it will go away, right. The pain got to be constant but I've slogged thru it, 2 Saint Bernard's help. After an eternity of investigation it has been determined my left hip is trashed, im running on bone on bone and time for a new ball joint. I'm scheduled for surgery Feb 14,hopefully this will put me back on the track. I have been sharpening believe it or not, I just have to work in segments, and will continue til chop chop day.
If this all goes well,my plan is to be back at Farmer's Market this next year and Grateful Edge will be back to Makin knives,walk and talk.
