GATE UPDATE: The Belleville Gate will be closed for inbound traffic today until further notice. The Shiloh Gate will be the only entry gate. Thank you!

UPDATE: Reminder that the Cardinal Creek Gate is open until 12:30 p.m. and there's no waiting at this time. Also the Macoutah Gate is open as well. Thank you SFS teams for helping us navigate to our exit.

Effective immediately Scott Air Force Base is going to a mission essential status due to tornadic/inclement weather forecasted to hit the base at approximately 1 p.m.

Units should employ a staggered release with consideration given to those who need to pick up children at the CDC, Youth Center and similar facilities. All gates will be open for outbound traffic—this includes the Cardinal Creek gate from now through 12:30. All medical appointments will rescheduled. Entry to base will only be for mission essential personnel or those who live on base.
