In a way, he is everywhere we look! This is Levi Scott, born Feb 8th of 1797, and Scottsburg town founder since 1850! Our Town was grown of his vision all those years ago, and we gather at the Community Center each year to honor his birthday. If in attendance, you will have a chance to peruse our large collection of photos, odds, ends, documents, journals, and more that has been collected and provided by the many great families that have called Scottsburg home for generations. PLEASE JOIN US! February 8th, 2-4pm, and let us sink into the intriguing story and impressive history of Scottsburg together!

**TIME TO BOOK DIRECT AND SAVE!**

Hi adventureres! We've just come out of our peak summer season that fills with Airbnb reservations from travelers and tourists, who leave us wonderful reviews and we are grateful for, but we see far less of those types during these colder parts of the year. To make it more affordable to locals for our slower months, we are now available to BOOK DIRECT which saves between $50 and $100 per night from the total when using other booking platforms. Booking direct will have no cleaning fees or any other 'hidden' fees. If you've been thinking about visiting, now is your chance to save BIG!!

$200/night for 2 people, $25 per additional guest, and 10% overall discount for more than 1 night.

Nightly rate includes everything: kayaks/firewood/propane/bedding/towels/etc, and of course your private dock use! You only need bring your clothes, food and choice of drink, and we provide anything else you could desire while here!

Hello! Sorry this page goes a bit quiet sometimes, but rest assured we're here! If you've visited our page recently you've probably noticed the "Book Now" button. Definitely still wrapping up a few odds and ends before this DIRECT BOOKING option is available, but almost ready! Anyone familiar with our pricing already will appreciate that booking direct will save at least about 20%! The platforms we use do add alot of fees, but also provide us advertising so we do appreciate our business with them and wouldnt be here without that! We'll be doing very similar pricing- just minus those fees. HOWEVER, summer waits for no one!!!! If you are looking to come see us anytime soon, we are still doing most reservations through Airbnb, and are also now available on Hipcamp! For those who haven't made the trip yet, it's about to get a bit easier to do. Stay tuned!!!!!

Well folks, we're down to our last couple wks of our summer season, few days still available! Soon we'll be adding an insulating liner into the dome and firing up the woodstove, making for a cozy romantic stay..

The seals and otters will be coming back out more as river activity quiets down, and we'll be looking forward to a great fishing season here!
