WASHINGTON DC in my opinion is a must see at least once in your life! No matter what your political views, the city is rich in the history of our great nation and our past great leaders. There are amazing memorials celebrating our veterans of all wars, Arlington Cemetery with the tomb of the unknown soldier and the men who serve them with the 24/7 changing if the guard is a site to behold! What’s also great about DC, are all the main attractions, are pretty much right next to each other. We hopped on a couple of scooters which are everywhere and away we went!

Awe….Hawaii….There is so much to do, you can never get it all in, in 1 trip! The air-space museum was really neet, the hanger still has the scars of WWII as a remembrance! Kahloa Ranch is highly rocommened. Besides being absolutely gorgeous! There are so many different activities to choose from such as the movie tour, jurassic tour, horseback riding, or going up the mountains and ending up seeing two sides of the island at the same time. So breathless! Its always one of my top best places to be.

Boise, Idaho what a quaint littlle city it is! We did so much in the week that we visited! They have a great zoo….the nightlife was amazing with the rooftop bar to enjoy beautiful views to a step back in time with Pengilly Salloon, the oldest bar in town, still decorated as such. It was easy, all walkable and lively and just a beautiful downtown district! Then out to the country, where we enjoyed lakes, rivers, and ponds for fishing! Horses, cows and farm fresh eggs, and ending with one of the best rodeo’s in the US! Highly recommended if you wanna get away from the hustle bustle of life and even vacation!

The Castles of Germany and Austria are absolutely pristine! Ludvig II outdid himself that is for sure. We were mostly in the Munich area. Munich itself is a little too modern looking for me but there is some veery important history there and although depressing, I wanted to take my kids to Dachau the concentration camp, so that my children would have a tiny bit of understanding and reverence concerning the horrors inflicted upon the Jews. I feel it is important to never forget our bad history so that hopefully it never gets repeated. The thing I liked most about Germany this trip, was the Biergarten's. Yes they had food, yes they had Beer...but so many came even with their own food that they had made for dinner and everyone just sat and ate and drank and socialized on the rows of picnic tables in the beautiful forest setting. I wish America was like this!

McCall ID is a hidden gem! We came up here once with the fam...and now its turning out to be an every year thing! It just a beautiful lake in the mountains with a small adorable town to go with it, but there is so much to do, the boat, jet-ski or whatever else you may want to rent are reasonably priced and ready to go on the water. I think we use Cheap Thrills rentals and have been satisfied with their service. Honestly.....this could be any cute town in the mountains with a lake, there are many to be had out there, this is just one of out great spots! Point is to just get out in that nature, enjoy the beautiful drive up, and have some summer fun and sport, and I could find you something like this closer to you!

H-Town in the house! If you do nothing else but eat your way through this town, you will enjoy your time! The food here is phenomenal! The soul-food in this town is scrumptious and so is the BBQ! Fav I found for BBQ was called The Pitt Room and there was a line coming out of this spot all times of the day! Frenchy's Fried Chicken with their boudin balls (dipped fried dirty rice) Oh my....Oh my! Smothered pork chops....I could go on and on! Downtown area is picturesque with trees so big they meet in the middle to tunnel the road and gorgeous old mansions lining the street. Don't go in the summer unless you prepare to sweat you b***y off and the winter's windy puts Chicago to shame lol, but there is lots of stuff to see....Kennedy Space Center and the zoo. I judge a town many times by its zoo, and let me tell you that Houston has one of the best zoo's I have been to. The way it is set up so that the animals still have a lot of roaming room but you can still get close to them is ingenious! Had a great time at the Motor Cross World Championship and I found Houston people to be super friendly! All in all a very good experience.

OMG....this was one of the coolest Glamping Experiences. Lake Powell Campground has it all! Its cute...quaint, has room to park your boats, RV spots, little cabins, and best of all.....these covered wagons that were absolutely huge on the inside! Can sleep up to 4 with a king size bed and a set of bunkbeds. Just be prepared to p*e right before you go to bed, cuz they do not have bathrooms. The campground facilities are great though with bathrooms, showers, and even a pool. We will definitely visit again. Antelope canyon is a must must must! So surreal and beautiful. My suggestion is that you book your tickets before you go though or you may not get an appt for tour. There is a box office right at Antelope Canyon to buy tours and they many times have spots open when the ones in town do not. Also part of the payment has to be cash, I cant remember how much but ask about that. We lucked out! Lake Powell itself is not much to see right now because it is lower than I have ever seen it. We still went to the Lake though. Very fun trip. Plus there are all the really cool Navaho Jewelry Stands along the way that I always get sucked into and the Grand Canyon is along the way or not far from as well and could easily be combined with this trip.

Disneyland is always a favorite for young and old! My family pretty much goes every year and Christmas season is the best! Its all decorated up, its nice outside and the season spirits are high. What I don't like is the fact that the kids can't get anywhere near the characters anymore....freaking Covid, and the price keeps going up and up and up and now they want you to pay for your fast past or genie pass! Really.....the average family can no longer afford Disneyland and Im sure that was not part of Walt Disney's dream, but Disney is in our soul....so bye bye paycheck. lol For hotel to get the best bang for your buck, we like Majestic Gardens. They have a shuttle from just their hotel that runs every half hour.

The Alaskan cruise is not a party cruise, much more subdued but I would recommend that everyone at least do it once. Alaska is breathtakingly beautiful! Definitely go and watch the Humpback whales in their element and the cruise will take you right up through the icebergs and do a 360 turn at the glacier. Its amazing! Plus it leaves out of Seattle which is one of my fav towns to visit. Downtown is extremely expensive to stay but if your 're up for something different, try staying at the Green Tortoise Hostel. You can get a private room contrary to what you might think. The bathrooms and showers are private, and they have a keg party every evening, breakfast served in the morning, a pot smoking relaxation room, and it is right in the downtown mix across from the famous Pike Place Market and extremely well priced. If you are bougie, like a few in my family, its probably not the spot for you...but I met the most interesting people there from all over the world and thought it was extremely clean and an all over great experience. The Cat Cafe was also a must do in my book. Who doesn't wanna have a catpuccino in the midst of a bunch of cats! lol

Going on a cruise is a great way to get the best bang for your buck! You get to see a lot of places, you know how much it cost from the get go, room and board are included, and if you know how to plan it right, you can even get one that includes unlimited alcohol such as this one I took with Norwegian Cruise Lines, although I have to give credit to my dear friends who actually gifted me with this vacation for turning me onto that. If you do end up on Norwegian, I highly recommend the Thermal Spa! Soooooo worth the extra cost!

If you have seen the movie, Letters to Juliet, then you know why we had to go to Verona...to put a note or letter in Juliets wall. The idea is that the letter is to Juliet (romeo and juliet), about a love of yours, relationship issues, family problems etc and she will help you. There are actually a group of women , Juliet's handmaids who collect the letters and answer them as Juliet. We had to do that. Also yes you are supposed to tough the statues breast. lol Venice, I have heard many rumors about before we arrived and many of them not so pleasant. I personally loved Venice and it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The taxi's are boats! How cool is that! Honestly...don't even need a gondola to explore the waterways of the city,, Just hop on a taxi and check out the beautiful scenery along the way. FYI make sure your airbnb or hotel comes with air conditioning because if it is summer, you will die without it. Great place to buy your leather purses too.

Florence is breathtaking! The architecture in this city is just incredible! No need for any kind of hop on hop off bus, your can pretty much walk everywhere you need to go in my opinion, besides, the streets are far too narrow for any of that kind of business. Be prepared for some steep prices though, it was probably the most expensive place we visited in Italy. I think that is because all of the cruise lines go in and out of there. Our airbnb was so cool. It was actually a cloister residence that used to be a convent for nuns.

If your gunna go south of Rome, you're def going to want to rent a car in my opinion. We explored the Amalfi Coast and the towns where my great grandfather and grandmother were born and raised. It was super cool to find a street in my great grandfather's birthplace, named after someone with our last name, and visited the church that all my family went to for generations. Lastly we went high up into the mountains to Trevi Del Nor whose waters actually feed the Trevi Fountains in Rome Renting a car may be a bit expensive along with gas, but it sure was fun to have to freedom to explore at our will.

This is definitely something different, great family fun or date night! Think it’s a bit pricey at $67 a person and $35 for kids and the meal isn’t really something the toddlers are into, but is def worth doing at least once! The show had a lot to it too, not just jousting! Horse tricks, falconry, and much more!

What a beautiful day snowboarding! Amazing views! Cold…cold…cold! The town is super cute too! Can’t wait to come up here in the summer months too. Reminds me of Lake Tahoe, and I love Lake Tahoe plus it’s closer! Lol

This was our accommodations in Big Bear! This is quirky, fun, unique, and just downright charming! For couples only! They even have costumes in the room if ya wanna go that route! Wink wink! In my book, it was very well priced at like $219 ish a night! FYI…..you can turn off the water….it is pretty loud!
