Kevin and I are off to Tanzania with 14, 50 pound bags of prosthetic legs for the next six weeks to serve in our orphanage, partner hospital NSK and opening the women’s shelter. We will also be climbing Kilimanjaro with 90 clients on four different occasions as well as taking over 50 clients on Safari. Follow along for our great adventures.

It’s been 3 incredible days meeting local families in the Andes, providing food bags, hiking 22 miles on the private Inca Trail and celebrating with an incredible cake!

Our team had the joy of visiting a local orphanage today in Peru. There are 70 kids from age 3 to 18 that have made this incredible house their home. Kevin and I also made our way to Vida Wasi the largest pediatric hospital in the Sacred Valley. We start on the trail tomorrow for 4 days and 3 nights. Send positive thoughts for dry, warm weather.

The Bashas’ scavenger hunt with K2 Adventures and the students of Notre Dame Prep was a huge success! The team purchased much needed food, household items and educational supplies to support the Navajo Nation. We are on our way to the Bodaway Gap Chapter House to deliver everything purchased!

We are so incredibly proud of this team and the goals they have accomplished! K2 Adventures Foundation partnered with Elevate Phoenix to create the Cade’s Escapades Program.

For 3 months, mentors and their mentees focused on their mind, body and soul. They worked out at Results Only Fitness, got nutrition advice specifically built for them, and ended their journey with a hike in the Grand Canyon.

Our newest program, Cade’s Escapades, had their first team hike today in preparation for their big hike in the Grand Canyon. We partnered with Elevate Phoenix to give mentors and mentees the opportunity to work on their fitness and nutrition, and the results have been amazing so far. Great job today everyone!
