VistaGreen was formed by Clarence Mann and Wood Beasley III to address coal ash containment issues. The design, construction and operation of the facility would be by companies and consultants with substantial experience in solid waste management. C Wood Beasley III established Greenwood Applied Services LLC (GAS) in 2007 located in Colerain, North Carolina, that specializes in handling, transport
and remediation of petroleum contaminated soil and water. GAS LLC operates three NC DEQ permitted facilities for the treatment of petroleum contaminated soil and water as well as one water treatment plant. GAS LLC also handles underground storage tank (UST) closures, Mobile Multi-Phase Extraction, Aggressive Fluid V***r Recovery, Type II & III monitoring well installation/abandonment and UST disposal. He has over twenty five years of experience in the environmental remediation industry. Beasley earned an agricultural degree from North Carolina State University. Professional certifications include: OSHA HAZWOPER 40 Hour, CDL A with HAZMAT endorsement. Clarence Mann has over 30 years of management experience, including data management, consolidations, sales/marketing, contract/bid negotiations, and strategic planning. His company, Vistabution, has handled a wide variety of matters for NCDOT, including right-of-way acquisition, excavation, and post-storm disaster recovery efforts. He was previously a member of the US Navy Submarine Atlantic Fleet with top secret clearance. He graduated with a B.S. in General Science from St. Augustine’s College, followed by an M.S. in Science Studies from NC Central University
